Opening Door for Visitors

Parents, although we appreciate you cordially opening the doors for our visitors while you wait in our vestibule., please refrain from opening the doors unless the front office buses our visitors in.

Middle School Class Pictures

Our Middle school class pictures for the yearbook , will be hosted in December more communication coming soon though our parent notes.


For the month of Novembers tutorials will be held on the following dates and time:

Tuesday, November 16th 4:00 -5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, November 17th 4:00- 5:30  p.m.
Monday, November 29th 4:00 -5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, November 30th 4:00- 5:30 p.m.

The 2022-2023 School Year Lottery application will be available online at https://yesprep.schoolmint.net/welcomeback, beginning October 29 2021.

Visitor Parking

Parents and Visitors, we now have visitor parking available for our patrons in the front of the school, located on the right side of the building.

Attendance Policy

Parents, to ensure your student's absences are marked as Excused, please submit a written note or email to our attendance clerk Ms. Palomares ana.palomares@yesprep.org. Please remember to include the following in your note:

  • Student Name
  • Student Grade Level
  • Parent Name
  • A brief explanation of why the student was absent.

We appreciate it when parents communicate this information via phone; however, we require documentation in writing. Thank you so much for being so supportive!

Address Change

In order for address change request to be processed by the front office, please ensure you bring the following proof:

  • Light Bill
  • Gas Bill
  • Water Bill
  • Contract Lease ( if you live in apartments)

Student Pick- Up Cut Off Time

Just a reminder that if you are picking up your student early from school, the cut-off time is 3:15 p.m. Our goal is to provide our families with the best customer service and avoid interruptions as our staff prepares for dismal times.

12th-grade student Lunch Drop off 

Only 12th-grade students have the privilege of ordering food or having food delivered to campus by the parent on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Our staff is not responsible for any missed deliveries or missing items that are delivered to the students.

If your student IS NOT a 12th-grade student, please do not bring or order delivery for your 6th-11th grade student, as the Front office staff will not accept it.

Back to School Forms 

ALL families must have the Back to School and New Student enrollment forms completed in SKYWARD. If you need your username and/or password reset, please contact Ms. Cervantes via email @ nancy.cervates@yesprep.org or Mrs. Gonzales @ miriam.gonzales@yesprep.org.

Parents who wish to add emergency contacts MUST add those contacts by completing the Back to school forms. Parents who have completed the Back to School forms and wish to add/remove current emergency contacts pick up forms from the front office.


  • Parents, please remember that students may not wear short shorts and also cannot wear jeans with holes/fake holes/rips/tears/frays. Students must adhere to the student dress code and wear ID's around neck at all times. 
  • The school day starts at 8:30am Monday - Friday. Students must be in class ready to work by 8:30am every day. We are still having many students arrive after 8:30am. This is shortening their instruction times. Please be sure to have your students here on time. 
  • Students should bring their laptop and charger every day.

The Thanksgiving season is upon us and we want you all to be able to celebrate! If you are in need of food for the holiday, please go to the following links that can help you and your family!

Family Portal

The Family Portal is a user-friendly way for you to access and understand your child’s progress and communicate with their teachers and campus leaders. The Family Portal provides you with key data related to your child’s success, including grades, missing assignments, attendance, and behavior, in one location and will support in-app chat, email, and live translation for more than 60 languages.   

We encourage you to log in and explore the Family Portal and its features. You can access the Family Portal at https://familyportal.yesprep.org Check your email inbox for login instructions and your temporary password sent out on 8/16/21. If you did not receive an email, simply follow the steps under "Set up account" on the Family Portal Help page. The campus with the highest percentage of families logged in at the end of the semester will have breakfast delivered to their next family association meeting.

Starting this week, group messages sent out from campus leaders or teachers will be sent via SMS/text message as the default rather than email. We hope this change will make it easier for you to stay up to date on campus events and classroom announcements. Individual messages regarding your child will still only be viewable when you are logged into the Family Portal. This is to protect your child’s privacy.

If you experience any issues or have suggestions to improve the Family Portal, click the blue “?” icon (Help / Resources) on the login screen to submit a help desk ticket.
